Hello, I’m Dietmar “Didi” Prantner, a passionate hobby-photographer based in the enchanting city of Vienna, Austria. For the past 25 years, my lens has been focused on capturing the essence of people and their stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Journey Through the Lens<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photography has been a part of my life since I was 20, armed with my first analogue Nikon camera. I vividly remember the days of experimenting with infrared and black-and-white slide films, long before the era of digital photography dawned upon us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the challenging times of the COVID pandemic, my love for photography expanded to include a travel section on this website. Traveling, once a cherished pursuit, now manifests itself in pixels and stories from places I’ve been fortunate enough to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collaboration and Creativity<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This portfolio is a testament to collaborative artistry. Together with ambitious models and talented makeup artists, many of whom are autodidacts like myself, we’ve created visual stories that transcend the ordinary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being self-taught behind the camera, I embrace the constant evolution of photography. What captivates me about photographs is their ability to freeze a moment, making it immortal, impossible to recreate. It’s a sentiment that has fueled my creative exploration throughout the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Ongoing Experimentation<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photography, to me, is an ever-playful journey to enhance creativity. I’ve experimented with different model types, diverse locations, editing styles, and more. The pursuit of a personal style has been relentless, but I’ve always treasured the joy of playing around and pushing boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every photograph is a piece of my visual narrative, a slice of life frozen in time. I hope as you explore my portfolio, you find inspiration, evoke emotions, and perhaps discover a new perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
